Back from rainy, rainy San Diego and you guys totally started the new year without me! *stomps foot* I've actually never been to California before, so it was fun. We drove past the convention center (where they're currently holding the International Auto Show), and I could actually *feel* how cool it would be to be there for Comic-Con, omg. I'm not quite caught up with everything yet, and I have other stuff to post.
I'm posting a couple of the more scenic shots I took, and seriously, if anybody's looking for a new desktop wallpaper (you know, for those times you need a safe, generic pic at work or some such *g*), feel free. Because these are *pretty.* Click pics for full-size (they're huge).
My 2 favorite shots of the coast:
View from Point Loma of the city (we could see Mexico in the distance just to the right, and the Pacific Ocean was behind us where we stood):
Place we ate on the harbor (check out the Celebrity Cruise ship *right there* --it was so big!):
