I hope everybody else's Christmas was as great as mine. We decided to try deep frying the turkey this year, and that turned out *really* well and will more than likely be our default turkey method in years to come. It's nice that Dad gets to be in charge of the main dish, freeing us up to cook more than five substantial side dishes in the kitchen

Also, love your new shelf, especially Mal and Jayne. (And, btw, nice flowers. *g*)

Ha, isn't it funny that I still have those flowers? And I still like the colors. I was thinking the other day I need more fake flowers in my room. Why not, you know? Bunch of daisies in the corner by the bed...that'd be cool.
Yeah, my only problem with Jayne and Mal is that every time I take them down to mess with them, it takes a few minutes to get them to stand up like that again. And there was Australian coffee drinking. You're going to have me hooked on the stuff and now I won't be able to get more. Hee.
Also, dude, yes, you *do* have healthier junk food. I swear. Our government subsidizes the corn industry, which somehow adds up to puting hydrogenated oils in *everything*. So...defend away. *g*
Right, Thunderstruck--just added it to my Netflix queue (which, it must be said, is incredibly long, and I never seem to get it ( ... )
