Lost: "What Kate Did"
I'm amused that Lost is becoming a grab-bag of other island references. This week, we get The Black Stallion. Here's hoping somebody manages to ride that horse sometime this season.
Am I crazy, or is Evangeline Lilly, like, really good at kissing? Last season, I thought it was the Kate/Sawyer combo that was so hot, but no, it's gotta be her. Wow. As often as I see kissing on my TV screen these days, she makes it surprisingly fresh. And seriously sexy.
Sometimes Josh Halloway's acting makes me cringe. Is he doing that on purpose? I'd like to think he is.
I'm, yes, a little disappointed by Kate's new backstory elements. It's not very impressive, and that "I don't have murder in my heart [UNLIKE YOU!]" comment makes me worry that they're taking this in an even *more* bizarre direction.
You know what, though? The Hatch is awesome. I love the contrast between Inside the Hatch and Back in the Jungle.
Looks like Locke met his match in Eko!
Hurley, analyzing Jack. Fun."It's like....transference." Hee.
Also, it now appears this is the Island of Sex. Jin and Sun are sweet. Heh.
Veronica Mars: "My Mother, the Fiend"
My estimation of Veronica's detective skills has gone down quite a bit this year. But seriously, she was way off her game this ep, wasn't she? First she spills to the VP for no good reason. Then she totally fails to handle that situation with Mama Kane and Duncan, at *all*. Then she leaps to a handful of equally unbelievable and unsubstantiated conclusions, based solely on what she wants to believe. And disperses her opinions like they're fact. Um, Veronica? I think your head's a fuzzy place right now and you should get it back in the game. By breaking up with Duncan, because he's probably been spiking your food with the pills that send him to the creepy zen place.
Omg, Cassidy is *so* cute.
Duncan is scary-creepy. When Veronica made that comment about it being ironic that Mama Kane would be afraid Lily was going to get pregnant? He didn't even *flinch*. He creeps me out. Like, a lot.
Glad they used this ending and not the one on AOL (which was where I was afraid it was going). I *so* knew that's what was up with Meg. Well, okay, so did everybody else, but they probably LOOKED. *g*
