ipod advice?
I just got an iPod. AND:
I want to put my songs on it. My iTunes library (aka all teh moozak) is currently on the Mac.
In one month, I'll be at college, using my PC laptop (hereafter Wally), and will certainly want to put new songs from Wally (PC, mind) onto the iPod.
However, apparently you can't just toggle back and forth between the two computer system things (Mac&PC) without erasing ALL the contents of your iPod. (WHY?) Problem, clearly!
I can try to export my Mac library to Wally, but I don't know if that'll work, and the Wally hasn't got Internet yet, because I don't know how to like set up wangsty DSL on a new computer ...
Advice?
Also: 84, Charing Cross Road is a wonderful (short!) book, and everyone should read it. It goes fast, being in completely epistolary style, and it's about BOOKS, so flist ... I know it/you=otp.
