Why do you write fanfiction?
I see perfect matches in perfectly uncanonical pairings; I write because of that. I want to see how two characters interact in Impossible Situations.
Also: because I'm not yet an experienced enough fiction writer to create my own from-scratch universe to play in -- so I dabble and make castles in another author's sandbox.
What made you start?
When I was active on the Harry/Tom thread at FAP, we constantly discussed the lack of really satisfying Tarry (or is there another term?) novel-lengths. Wholly resolved to change this unfortunate sitaution, I bought a notebook and starting Going. I copied down canon characteristics of Tom and the diary, sketched out my "Plotbunny (of Doom) (sort of)", wrote out drabbles and briefest scenes, lined the page with song lyrics and quotes. And I got through the prologue, and part of the future first chapter ... though nothing more.
That really unleashed the monster, because then ideas didn't stop coming. I got an idea for a Percy/OC slash fic, but was definitely not ambitious enough to tackle it. "Astrology", a Tom/Ginny fic, is still living (though now, more like hibernating) there. And then came my four one-shots, all at FA.

What fandoms do you write in?
HARREH POTTAH.
What fandoms do you read in?
Regularly, only Harry Potter. But I've read a Grease fic, and a RP!SW one.
What's the worst story you've ever written?
For me, it's more a question of the worst poetry, and OMG THERE IS SO MUCH BADPOE.
What writers are your inspiration?
Holographis, Zahra, and Rhoddlet. Because SERIOUSLY, OMG.
WIP's or completed stories only?
I've only ever written one-shots. I'll read both, yey.
