before i write something and get food
so hi, class was okay... there's an athlete (bah!) we're going to have to watch out for, seriously.
other than that? nothing much happened. just reading the rules and the lead teacher fucked with the kiddos about what makes writing interesting and not at all like what they did in highschool-- all sorts of "i'm a hippie teacher opening your mind! o captain!" shit, but fun to watch. i generally just smiled and jumped in when we were getting a little boring, which wasn't often.
okay, so here's the deal-- gee's bend quilt class is going to be awesome, and updates will follow.
and? my poetry class has five students. and one woman. i'm surrounded by teh penis and the teacher is also male. if they step out of line i'm going to start reading poems about menstruation and equality and ovaries and stuff. seriously, i'm wary on this one. men? in a classroom? what sort of world is this??
