A Week Has Come and Gone
Basically my life has taken a turn for the better ever since Sunday.
I was an absolute shitshow at the Collective Soul concert and was taking many pictures with gross old men. Also, when I was making beer runs, I made the beer lady show me her underwear and then proceded to ask her and her husband (who was also working the beer counter) how they felt about threesomes. I love my life.
Been dating this new guy. He's really lax and super nice. Talks about his family tons (PLUS!). I went to middle school with him yet never knew him until the concert on Sunday. He's called or texted me everyday since we met and I give him mad props for actually calling me the day following the concert--most guys dont do that. One drawback though, he always reminds me that he doesn't want a relationship. It's like "okay? What do you think I was expecting?" Not all girls are expecting a relationship to unfold within days of meeting someone. Last night we even got into a small fight about it, it was so stupid! We were sitting around the fire at the house and he busts out "I hope you dont have expectations as far as we're concerned". I honestly just laughed. How ridiculous. I dont have expectations, I'm just having fun dammit!
It's just weird how those things happen, ya know? I mean I wasn't looking for a new guy and BAM! Suddenly, I have one. And he's totally not "my type". A lady at work was talking about people and the "types" they date. She was saying how people think they like a certain type and always look for it, but really their type is usually the opposite. Which is strange and seems to be the case for me. Oh well, we'll see where this goes.
