Can I curl up under the covers and pretend the world doesn't exist?
Just wanted to assure everyone I am still around. As you can tell, I got my twitter problem fixed with the help from the people here at LJ. Kudos to them. I am still planning on finishing up Rites of Passage. Every time I think RL can't get worse, it does.
The case from my car accident is still not settled & lady's insurance company doesn't want to pay the medical. BOOOOOOO! And I am still having back problems. My dad had his back surgery. That was fun. My aunt died. At the first of the year, my brother-in-law lost his job (idiot company) and now my sister is pregnant again! I've been going back & forth to NC taking food and buying stuff for them when we have extra money.
The other thing, BIG thing, I took on a second job (P/T) to help pay my medical bills from the car accident since everyone wants their money NOW. It also allows me to put money aside for DragonCon, maybe Shore Leave or the con in Chicago. I'm hoping to go to ND this summer, but...my other job (it is also P/T) is temporarily F/T to P/T depending on what is going on & the whole place is on the chopping block to be closed due to funding cuts. AIEEEEEEEE! The superintendent (was the ass. super) is leaving for another job. Double AIEEEEEE!
Enough about that. So if I go to ND, is anyone interested in going along with? The trip would be between 3-4 weeks. I would like to do a little sightseeing along the way.
Also, if you are going to DragonCon and need floor space, we can talk.
