You know how I picture this happening? Remember how Rodney talked to Carson's "spirit" on the pier after his death? I don't know if John would ever have the nerve to say these things to Elizabeth or not (although I see them as very real for him), but I kind of picture him talking to her spirit and telling her this, wishing he had let her know during life.

Now her "death" is another thing. The writers never really killed her so we knew she was dead. There was hope but no real hope. They probably thought they were being clever. I found it annoying - either kill her or don't (I would have voted don't). I think it would have been horrible for her friends on Atlantis. Do they grieve or not?

Anyway, this is cool and the emotions very John Sheppard. I think he did feel a special connection to her because she was willing to believe in him and give him a chance when others were not.

I'd say it worked wonderfully for Shep anonymous January 24 2010, 02:34:36 UTC
could feel the gut wrenching pain in his voice. Elizabeth was perfect in action and few words.

Thank you. I'm glad I was able to capture some of their voice. You never know if you have it right or not. I'm glad you enjoyed.

BTW, I haven't forgotten about Rights of Passage. I'm still working on it. *le sigh*
