Some people were talking about this in Gov I think. And my friend's ex-boyfriend is like crazily into it. I just think that it was interesting, and has some good points and some stretches.
It's basically the theory that the events of 9/11 weren't terrorist attacks but planned events/bombings/demolitions. Watch the whole thing if you have time, but the first 15 minutes are good enough by themselves to just check out.
Awhile ago I got all sucked into Wikipedia looking up the Kennedy assasination conspiracy theories, it's just so interesting to me for some reason!
Aaaaanyways, we've been watching The Godfather in English and I really like it! I feel like a guy admitting he likes chick flicks saying that, but I'm just so sucked in by their lives now.
I just found out that I got a scholarship to the University of Oregon for $6,000 a year! Combine that with what Stanford will pay (since my mom works there) and I could pretty much go there for free. So this means we're definitely going to need to go visit fo sho. Plus, when my mom told me how much Stanford will pitch in (about $15,000 a year starting my sophmore year), I will feel a little less guilty if I go to Scripps or Carnegie.
Earlier today I got really excited about going to Maui. I can't believe it's the week after next! I hope they get all done with their rain. Then I have two weekends after that to decide which college to go to! So one of those will be used for Oregon and then maybe the other for Carnegie Mellon. If we do that weekend it will literally be a day before I have to make my decision. So I'm going to really think about whether I might choose Carnegie Mellon over Scripps or USC.
Woo today has been relatively rain free. I was about to build an ark.
Watched Shakespeare In Love for what could have been the first time since I hadn't seen it in at least 6 years and only once. I liked it! And wow, I want an eloquent man, dammit.
P.S. I love this icon because I just turned 18. AW DAMMIT I'm never going to have illegal underage sex *pouts*
