Went to the trial match last night and it was pretty good viewing for not having a side to support. I simply can't not be partisan so great quandry really. Although once Mehrtz came on. Heheh.
He got a phenomenal cheer from the crowd. I was so proud: enough to bring a tear to the eye ;o) But yes if he ever doubted you could safely say that along with Chris Cairns (didn't they go to school together?) and maybe Harry, they're NZ's favourite sporting sons.
