Insomnia & WHO meme
Ugh, I can't sleep. No wonder, really, seeing how I've been staying out until the early morning hours a few times too much lately and my sleeping pattern is now entirely fucked up. Oh well.
I know the casting for 'Romeo & Juliet', by the way! Bwahaha. Instead of casting us cross-gender, our director has re-gendered several parts in the play. So instead of 'Romeo & Juliet', we'll be doing 'Romea & Julius'! I am Benvolia (originally known as Benvolio). I honestly can't wait, this is going to be so much fun. I don't get to be a man, but! I get to do sword fighting. YES.
So, anyway, I did this really fun meme today.
1. Pick a fandom or a character.
2. Put your itunes/playlist on shuffle.
3. Sketch something for every song that comes up. It has to be relevant to the song and relevant to the fandom/character. You may only sketch as long as the song is playing, no longer! Ten songs. One sketch per song.
First song that came up was 'Running up that Hill' by Placebo. My first though was 'Family of Blood/Human Nature'. The Doctor looks like a spaz in the background in this one. *lol*
Second I got 'Never Ever' by All Saints. 'Girl in the Fireplace' sprang to mind. Now Reinette looks like a spaz. But Rose looks pretty! Nothing like Rose, of course, but pretty. :P
Third was 'Good Morning Life' by Dean Martin. Aww. :)
Fourth came 'Don't Speak' by NoDoubt. Did I ever wish I'd had more time to do this one properly! And what is up with that random leaf blowing in the background? I dunno, honestly...
Fifth was... *sigh* ...'Closer' by Nine Inch Nails. Damn you, playlist! YOU try and draw some decent Doctor/Master pr0n in under six minutes. :P
Sixth was 'Cool' by Gwen Stefani. Doctor/Sarah-ish, and look! 5-seconds-left K-9 sketch! Aww. ;)
Number seven was 'Deeper Underground' by Jamiroquai which, for some reason, reminded me of 'Evolution of the Daleks'. Here's the Doctor with Tallulah, hiding from scary Dalek!
Eight! This is my favourite! I got 'Forever Young' by... gee, I don't know who, actually. But anyway, Ten actually looks vaguely like Ten in this one. O.o And so does One. While Four just freaks me out. XD
Nine incidentally features... Nine! I didn't even notice until just now. Oh well. It's to 'I'm a Believer' by The Monkees, and I went for Rose/Nine. I feel sorry for them, because this is definitely the crappiest of all these sketches, heh. Well... it's a very short song, okay?? *L*
Last but not least, number Ten. And what did my playlist give me? 'I Want Candy'. I had to go with Captain Jack on this one. ;)
But yes, what a fun version of this meme! I'd love to see some of you do it.
