Oh. My God.
I just watched Ashes to Ashes and I absolutely loved it to pieces. The Gene Geenie kicks arse. And the worst thing is, I absolutely did not expect to love it, at all! I thought the whole going back in time thing would get old. But it didn't. It's all brilliantly realised and acted. Bugger it! Another show I'll have to watch! Hmph.
...But it is really very good.
EDIT: Oh hey, by the way. Overheard in my local cinema on Whitechapel Road after watching 'Cloverfield' (which was a load of rubbish in my opinion):
Girl: That was crap, I wish we'd gone to see Sweeney Todd instead.
(British Pakistani) boy: What's that about?
Girl: Oh, it's... it's 95% singing or something.
Boy: Really?!
Girl: Yes! They sing all the time in it.
Boy: Woah! That's like... like... a British Bollywood film! Or something!
...Otherwise knows as a musical. Dimwit.
