(Gosh, it took me forever to catch up on my friends list and it's only been a couple of days.)
So, Thomas and Moni just flew home this morning. What a bloody brilliant four days we've had!
Did we get drunk on Saturday? You fucking bet we did! We went from emptying left-over beers at home, to drinking pints and G&Ts in Brick Lane to going clubbing in Hoxton Square and oh good Lord, we had so many Sambuca shots it wasn't funny. No, actually, it was. It was pretty damn funny and nearly ended in a lot of group lovin', had we been a bit more drunk and a bit less broke. *shakes fist at London prices* Then we staggered home in the rain, talking English and laughing uncontrollably. I can't really remember the last half an hour before I passed out in my bed, but I was told that I nearly got run over by a car, read pervy things from a sex board game called 'Monogamy' that Chris and I own to everyone in the room (much to their amusement, and Moni squeeing: OMG WE HAVE TO BUY THIS GAME OMG!) and... yes. It was a good night.
Apart from that we've walked ALL around London and last night went to see 'Elling'. I went again, 'cause Chris and Moni wanted to see it and 'cause it's an awesome play. And I kept telling them, I did: You will not recognise John Simm. You will not. He's so in-character it'll take your breath away. - They listened to this and nodded. And what's the first thing I hear during break? "Blimey, you really can't even recognise John Simm!" YES I TOLD YOU SO, DID I NOT!
Anyway, they both loved the play, and I loved it even more than the first time around. (It also is even slashier on second viewing, I dare
snowgrouse to write Elling slash once she's seen it. XD)
I've realised something. I LOVE it when people come visit me in London. So, FLIST, GET YOURSELVES OVER HERE! :O I no like being by myself!
And now I'm off to queue for
Proms with Chris.
