Last Monday, we were 2500 meters above sea level in the Lebanon Mountains. We entered the Cedar Forest, where most of the trees are over 3000 years old. It was fascinating! The trees stared at us as we walked through the forest while being tracked by a murder of crows…

Our journey away from reality reached its climax in the valley beneath the towering snow caped mountain peaks that encircled us….







It was serene. We stood on top of a hill over looking a valley (pictures are forthcoming) and remained there in a pleasant numb daze. A quick inspection of the rocks surrounding us has led me to believe that this entire mountain range and areas was once submerged beneath the ocean several thousand years ago...I did not want to leave!
