Title: Five times Chris cock blocked Darren and one time he didn’t (1b/3)
Rating: R
Spoilers (If any): None
Warnings (If any): RPF
Word Count: ~5500
Summary: It has been way to long since Darren has had sex and as a result he is getting a little desperate in his pursuits. He’s fairly successful but what he doesn’t count on is the ever cock-blocking presence of Chris fucking Colfer.
A/N: So this is my first attempt at writing fanfiction. Betaed by the wonderful S who is my brain twin. However neither of us are incredibly down with American slang so if anything seems glaringly out of place please let me know. This is an eventual CrissColfer fic which initially has Darren/OFCs and Chris/OMCs although nothing to explicit in this part :D. Enjoy!

‘Well it’s not exactly the breakfast of champions but it’s the best I could come up with on short notice’ Chris says. ‘Don’t worry, I scraped off all the mould.’
Darren examines the toast and water that has been set before him with undisguised concern. ‘Chris this is prison food!’
‘Don’t be silly. You get fed better than this in prison.’
‘Right we’re going out.’

They end up going to Java’s, a coffee house that is one of Darren’s frequent haunts due to an ongoing flirtation with Amy, one of the waitresses there. Chris orders and they go through the usual ‘You know my coffee order!’, ‘Of course I do!’ conversation just because they can, and take their usual seat in the corner next to the window.
‘You know it’s kind of sad how desperately you want to have sex’ Chris says abruptly watching as Darren runs a hand through his hair for the third time to make sure it’s looking at its messy best.
‘It’s been nearly six months Chris’ Darren says through gritted teeth. ‘Since a little before Mia and I broke up. I very much need to get laid.’
‘There’s more to life than sex you know’ Chris says sagely.
‘Says the guy who went out with Mr PDA for three months’ Darren says remembering Charlie with a slight shudder.
‘Yeah he was a little over the top’ Chris admits with a shrug. ‘But boy was he good in the sack.’
‘So you told me. Repeatedly.’
‘And that thing he did with his...’
‘Tongue. I know! Now can we please change the subject? You can’t talk about sex to a guy that is as sexually frustrated as I am.’
Chris takes pity on him and they people watch for a while, loudly judging the people going about their business on the street outside.
‘That guy looks like a vampire.’
‘How come vampires don’t get diseases transferred by the blood? You know like Hepatitis?’
‘Darren! You can’t just ask people why they don’t have Hepatitis.’
‘Well that guy is definitely up to something dodgy.’
‘What makes you say that?’
‘Look at him! Hood up, hat pulled low. Why is he covering his face like that? Because he has something to hide!’
‘I don’t know Dare. Maybe he just had a very ill thought out nose job.’
‘Or one of his mates shaved off his eyebrows while he was passed out.’
‘Mafia!’ Chris shouts, spotting two men fully kitted out in suits, sunglasses and ear pieces.
‘You think everyone is Mafia.’
‘Why the sunglasses Darren? It’s not that sunny out. Very suspicious if you ask me.’
‘You’re just paranoid.’
‘Just because you think they’re watching you doesn’t mean they aren’t.’
‘That doesn’t even make any sense Chris! Seriously you are like one step away from wearing a tin hat to stop aliens scanning your brain waves.’
‘That’s not a bad idea, thanks Darren.’
‘Darren?’ a female voice says quietly and the two boys jump, wrapped up as they were in their ridiculous conversation.
‘Oh hey Amy’ Darren says nervously and his hand immediately goes to his hair. Chris hides a smirk.
‘I’ve got a break now and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?’
‘Oh yes. That would be great!’ Darren says enthusiastically. He turns to Chris and widens his eyes in a very obvious signal to piss off.
‘Right well... I’ll just be going then’ Chris says abruptly and unsubtly. ‘Because I’ve got a... thing. You know me. Always with the things. Yes. Right. Bye.’
He’s halfway across the shop when he has a sudden thought and, not sure when he’s going to get a chance to talk to Darren again, doubles back.
‘Dare?’ he speaks softly. ‘Remember to get that rash checked out yeah? You don’t want it spreading.’
Darren looks at him in horror because seriously? Now? That needed to be said right now? Without looking at Amy he can tell that she is most likely disgusted and desperately thinking of a decent reason to leave. Because yes, he could just have an innocent rash, which it is. But the way Chris had pitched his voice, low and secret and clearly only intended for Darren, made it sound a lot worse than it actually was.
‘Right we’re leaving then’ Darren sighs.
‘Oh really must you? Oh well don’t let me stop you. See you soon’ Amy gabbles and flees.
‘Huh?’ Chris says. ‘I thought you were gonna grab a coffee with her or something?’
He looks innocent but Darren isn’t entirely convinced that it was a complete accident.
‘You really are completely clueless twat sometimes aren’t you Chris?’
