(no subject)
Wooooo Hoooo!
I've just realized I have an addiction to
electricity. And we just got our power back on after little miss katrina wreaked her havoc....amazing how much you can miss electricity in a mere 24 hours.
Praise God.
The air conditioner wasn't working, so I would think "Oh, I'll just turn on the ceiling fan." Hehe. I'm just so bright. My brother spent the afternoon glumly plucking his unplugged electric instruments on the couch. And I read and did homework... (WITHOUT the computer, no less)
We took a walk around our whole neighborhood this morning through the whipping wind and rain...and played with the neighbor kids and dogs a little...that was fun. The wind had blown almost all the pears off of our pear tree so we ate a bunch of those. They were actually really good...ripe to perfection.
Annnnnd I had math class today, and that was pretty ok. The tutor lady is just crazy...I really like her. :) Very obviously a math teacher.
