what a confusing day.
so .........today was quite interesting.........
pali and i went to bed at like 4 after studying for math. i had a math quiz first 2 blocks in the morning, then had an oral presentation to give for english and then had to know three music songs on the piano for music in the afternoon. i was pretty ready for math, my whole presentation was written on notecards and basically read from, and the songs, i hadn't even looked at them. so, we had planned to wake up at 6, i was going to take a shower, then study a little more for math. so i wake up, go to turn the bathroom light on and there was no light. so i was like wonderful, blackout. so i went back to bed. then at like 6:30 i got up again and there still was no light. so pali and i looked outside to see if it was just my building and aparently pali's building across the street had light so we were like fuck we'll go to your house and take showers there. so we get our stuff together, and walk across the street at like 6:40 in the morning. so we get to her apartment and the hall light works, so i'm ready to take a shower and the bathroom like doesn't go on. so aparently only some lights were working? it was weird. anyway we decided to skip the showers, got dressed and had breakfast. so we go to get the elevator anddddddddd there was no elevator working, the building generator had gone off. so we're like wonderful, the stairs. so we go to the stairs and the door closes behind us and we found ourself faced with 9 flights of stairs in literal pitch dark. NOT HAPPENING. fucking scarrryyy and quite dangerous if i might add. it freaked me out even thinking of it. anyway so we're like great, we're trapped at the top of this building, wonderful. so we called our friend at school and asked what was going on and she said there was no power there either...so then we called the office and explained the situation and they said that it was ok, not to worry, we could take the test later if we couldn't get tehre on time...(just so just in case the teacher said we couldn't take it, he would have to let us for that) thenn a little while later, we found out there was no quiz. so we were a little more realaxed and decided to just sleep for half an hour and see if it was back on then...so pali crawls into bed, lies down and just as i take my shoes offf............boom. the lights go back on. it was soooo dissapointing. so we go to school, and to our surprise we walk into a classroom full of ppl taking the test. so we're like great, we've only missed an hour of this 54-question quiz. so i start doing it and it was all pretty easy and i pretty much went through a lot of it fast, but because the class had less time then we were supposed to, and i had even less time than that, i had to hand in the test with like 2 pages and a half blank. and the teacher's like no sorry that's all the time you get. TELL ME THAT'S NOT REDICULOUS?! that would never happen in greenwich, i could like complain to the principal....whichhhh is exactly what i'm going to do if i get a bad grade on that fucking quiz. asshole.
anyway, as francisco calmed me down a bit (since he seems to be the only thing that makes me feel better lately) i still had to stress about the oral and my piano songs. luckily i got away with not doing the presentation the first hour of english and after lunch mmmm "my stomach began to hurt" so i went to the nurse, missed the second hour of english and my mommy came to pick me up before music :). it was a good save. except then i found out that they didn't do the songs anyway because the teacher ended up talking about something the whole time...buttttttttt i got to sleep. from like 2-7. it was a gooood nap.
then i woke up, ate, did nothing, watched nip tuck, anddd got my stuff for tomorrow ready. the highschool's taking a bit of a field trip to the mountains for some snowboard action. YES. anddd guess who i get to spend the whole bus ride with??? francisco?? yessssss. precisely. it's gonna rock my world. pictures will be up soon :)
