Gotta share this
I was just sitting here thinking about dessert. I did a google search on my favorite cake. I couldn't find it. So, I decided to share it with whom ever reads this. It's so easy, it's pathetic.
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
2 tablespoons butter
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 cup pecans (optional)
Mix the butter with the cake mix. Reserve 1 cup of the mixture. In an greased 8x12x1 pan, pour in remaining cake mixture. Open up both cans of filling and pour onto cake mixture. Sprinkle reserve mixture on top.
Add pecans if desired.
Cook in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until done.
It is sweet, but delicious. I cooked it once around the holidays while I was staying with my mother and my brother damn near ate the whole thing by himself. So, I guess it was good. Lol
