Yarr, I hurt
So we got back from our vacation yesterday. Oooooh boy, I have a lot to type about, unless I get bored/lazy half way through because I have a short attention span =D
We left on Canada Day XD To the U S of A On Canada Day....haha....drove down to my aunt's first because she came back, nice seeing them again I guess XDD Ate dinner there and drove off to Seattle where we stayed overnight at some cheapy hotel. It was creepy...just...because....I had a hard time getting to sleep, actually my parents did too. But it was cheap, and we were allowed to leave the car there while we were away.
We had to get up pretty early to get ready and go to the airport. Ahh, my first time on a plane. The plane ride itself was not bad at all, in fact, the take off was fun o_O It was the anticipation of what it was going to feel like that was totally getting to me, when I'm nervous, I have a hard time breathing, so I played a little electronic hand held Connect Four to calm myself down. The sucky thing about this plane is that where we sat, what we mostly saw was the plane's wing T_T But land looks oddly entertaining from the sky. The landing was horrible, my ears! OOOOH MY EARS! They popped so badly, it really hurt ><
After 2 or so hours we arrived in Los Angeles and picked up the rental car. Hot damn, it was nice X3 We could've rented a Mustang though!! O___O Damn XD Ah well. We headed off to find the hotel, but got lost a bit. The hotel was REALLY nice though, it looked like a mini apartment! When you walked through the doors and looked straight there was a couch and a big TV, to your left was a mini kitchen with everything but a stove. The cupboards even had dishes in them o_O Then there was another room through another door where the bedroom and bathroom was. Such a nice big bed =w= AND ANOTHER BIG TV! AHAHA! It was great~
We spent our 3 days there at Disneyland. Haha, I'm 17 and hadn't been to Disneyland until now XD At first it was actually pretty boring for me o_O All we did was walk around and wait in long lineups only to find out the ride sucked ass. Especially this one in Toon Town, aw fuck, waited in line for well over 45 minutes behind some smelly teenagers in a long winding tunnel thing, then when we got on the ride it was just creepy and something like you would see on a drug trip >< Yeah, and the roller coasters are so lame it made my soul cry. The only good things that day were the night shows and fireworks etc.
The second day wasn't bad, we went to the California Adventure side. The rides there were actually fun, but my mom freaked out on the swinging ferris wheel. Made me feel a bit bad, I didn't realize how bad her fear of heights were =/ I would've liked to go on that HUGE roller coaster but my parents wouldn't do it and I wouldn't do it by myself XD If I had friends with me I'd do it.
The last day we hardly did anything, by this point we were just really tired from walking.
OMG OMG OMG! I don't remember which day it was but we stumbled across an arcade and the first thing I noticed was DDR! O_O Then I went to look around the other side and came across two girls cosplaying random ANBU from Naruto DDRing on another machine XD It was great! I so wanted to yell something out at them but I was too shy >w<
I didn't go, but a couple times we passed by the Anaheim Convention Center where Anime Expo was held, each time we passed it I anxiously looked out the windows for cosplayers. I didn't see many because it was only outside, but I caught a glimpse of: Sakura Haruno (Naruto), Rosette Christopher (Chrno Crusade), Sora (KH2, this person was a PERFECT Sora), Chii (Chobits), and I think another I knew but I can't remember T_T Then there was the totally non-original slutty maid cat-girl, I hate those people, and a bunch of characters I didn't know. It was kinda funny because this one girl I saw had a gorgeous costume but it looked like she had a hard time walking in it XD
So that's about all we did in LA, on Thursday we drove to San Diego. San Diego has now become the farthest place I've been. Kinda sad, I never go anywhere XD We still had some time to do stuff once we got there so we found our hotel and went shopping. We got lost...a lot XD The roads are pretty bad though, the signs are unclear and so this made it very easy to get confused. Anyways, I went crazy shopping, there were a lot of good deals on pretty clothing =3 <3
The next day we went to the San Diego zoo. It was pretty good, nothing super special though. They have a lot of animals but like half of them were some kind of pig or deer X3 They didn't have any cheetahs T_T Made me go *tear* And none of the big cats were visable.
Saturday was a full shopping day. Sooooooo fun! Interesting stores and SUCH PRETTY CLOTHING!! And....wait for it....waiiit....WE FOUND A HOT TOPIC! *spazlove* Best Hot Topic store EVAR! Pretty things all around~~ And I finally completed my list of striped thigh-high socks <3 Black and white, green and black, and now just recently pink and black and purple and black. I used my own money to pay for the 2 pairs of socks and a really pretty black shirt with a purple fairy and....things...OMGSPAZLOVE <3 I also finally got pink converse shoes. I'm an emo kid! XD No, not at all >< I have no intentions of being emo XD I needed the shoes for my Kairi cosplay. Kairi's shoes are actually a weird shade of purple and I don't want to paint my shoes, so I'll just cover them with the right colour and baste it on so I can take it of later. I'm still going to wear these shoes normally too. Converse are...weird XD It's odd having something crawl up your ankle, and there isn't much padding for comfort at all o_O Still good though =3 Er, on the topic of clothing, I forgot I got two shirts from Disneyland, ha...haha...the stuff there is...expensive...let's not talk about it XD;;; I got a pink Pirates of the Caribbean shirt (which match my converse like crazy) and a black Nightmare Before Christmas shirt. Also two other shirts from JC Penney XDD Really nice though, and only $15 for both of those. Back on topic now~
The last day we went to Sea World. Shamu is cool XD The killer whale and dolphin show was absolutely amazing, really inspiring. The rest was prety neat too, but not worth going into extreme detail (because I don't feel like it) We also tried a churro, some long cinnamon bun stick thing, it's not as good as it looks though =/
As mentioned yesterday we returned. The plane ride was fine again, though half way back I got really restless and bored. Once we returned to Seattle I couldn't wait to get home as I was dead tired. Thankfully our bags came out pretty close to first so we could leave. We got picked up by someone from that old hotel we left our car at and were soon on our way home. After a couple hours we made it home by like 12:30 at night. So sleepy =w= It's good to be home~ <3
Here are some random things I noticed:
-The people who dress up as Disney characters are cosplaying! I have a new respect for them X3
-Everywhere you look there are really weird trees, and palm trees are neat
-Some people down there are really stupid (no offence) they drive bad and are mean, and I'll bring up the bad signs again. Not to mention lots of traffic
-There's a street in Anaheim called "Ulric St." See where this is going fellow FMA freaks? Sounds like Elric doesn't it? XDD
-There's another street in Anaheim too (I think it was Anaheim) called "Rosencrans St." So close to being Rosencrantz XD Wooo, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern X3 Ah, stupid Hamlet.
And my final thoughts:
I didn't think I'd need to bother putting sun screen on the day we went to Sea World because it clouded over a bit. I was horribly mistaken. Both my arms and chest were like lobster red ToT I hurt >__> At least it'll turn into a kick ass tan in a few days <3

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I wish we had Cartoon Network XD One day I was watching TV late at night at one of the hotels and Adult Swim was on~ So I watched Eureka 7, Ghost in the Shell, and Samurai Champloo~ Samurai Champloo was pretty good O_O Kinda want to see more >__>
