'Kay I'm bored and so I'm updating.
Today was a complete waste of time, seriously, I did nothing. I feel like nothing was accomplished. I thought of working on some random art, but for the past few months I've had no inspiration and more importantly, no motivation. The most I've done are random pictures on lined paper in English class. And no one ever sees those anyways, except Kiyo. I used to love drawing, but ever since I discovered all those great artists out there, I've felt so inferior. Instead of pushing myself to be better I just simply don't do anything and accept the fact that I'm not as good as I could be. It also doesn't help that every time I entered my school's anime poster contest, I've lost. Yeah, I'm a sore loser. I couldn't even get second place. Stupid fucking bastards. Now I'm mad, and I was happy before. PMS much? Yup! =D
Not that it matters, I've found a new passion for fashion (it rhymes! Yay!). I find great fun in sewing, and I really should do it more, if it wasn't for the fact that we have no random good fabric. Oh I could work on so many lovely lolita outfits and headdresses <3
Now I'm happy just thinking about sewing! I can't wait for textiles tomorrow, we've gone into our second project, which is a skirt. I chose to make a pleated one, I like doing pleats, it's entertaining.
Oh yeah! Why I'm reminded of this now I don't know, but there's a very good chance I'll be able to make it to Anime Expo this year! Last year I tried but my mom couldn't get the week it's held off so I couldn't make it. Then recently I remembered it and asked, and it turns out the week we're going on vacation is the week it's held! Looks like we'll be going to Anaheim, California (where AX is held) for a few days and spend a day at Disneyland (I'm 17 and never been =O) then head off to Palm Springs. Which means a plane...I'm scared of planes, never been on one before XD;;; Anyways, for one day at AX is $30, that's the first pre-reg price for all 3 days of AE, crazy but AX is the biggest anime con in the U.S. or something. AAAAAAND if I end up going I have a chance to meet the famous CLAMP group and Vic Mignogna (Ed's English VA). The only thing is I don't know if CLAMP and Vic will be there all 4 days, if they're only there for certain days I'd have to find out which days and pick one for me to attend. I'm excited anyways.
Now I've run out of things to say....damn....
