what a good weekend

So after class Friday, Al, Craven, Michelle, Adam, Drew, and myself went to New Orleans. Our destination was Voodoo fest taking place in New Orleans City Park. 2 main stages, very awesome area. We got there and caught the 2nd half of Kings of Leon. They were pretty good. Then M.I.A. played the second stage behind us. We all tried to get as close as we could to see Rage Against the Machine. Well, they started at around 9:30, and everyone started pushing forward. Craven and I tried to push back, but it was no use, we were sandwiched. So we got out and saw them from the side of the crowd. They were pretty good. Spent the night at Michelle's house, Watts joined us. Saturday I saw some funk band, the very end of Mute Math, Coheed and Cambria, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals (VERY impressive), and the Smashing Pumpkins. SP was incredible, definetly went up in my book. After that, half of us went to dinner. It was delicious. Roast beef poboy. After that it was Bourbon Street. Had 2 hand grenades and a beer. Not a good idea. I vomitted continuously throughout the day today and I had the worst hangover I've ever had in my life. So I can say that Bourbon Street has officially ended my streak of not having thrown up from alcohol. Needless to say, I had a great weekend.
