Yesterday
Okay I'll give you an update on the past year in my life in a while, cos it would be too much to write now....I mean i haven't written in this thang for almost a year. So i'll just start with yesterday:
On wednesday night, the manager at the Springfield (mall) starbucks called to see if I could work there from 7-11am. I usually never work mornings but Devon covered my shift the night before since my lip was still swollen (from being alleric to beer............btw, my social life is ruined). So I accepted the shift. Problem was, I couldn't fall asleep that night.
So I pulled an all nighter & went into work at 6:30am (i was bored) and worked till 10:15am. Had art class from 12-3 but class sucked cos I wanted to pass out the entire time (from being so tired). I even got delusional (happens when I get no sleep). Anyway, on my way home I picked up a barbacoa burrito (usually don't get barbacoa) from Chipotle and ate it on the drive home. As i pulled up on my driveway, I was so tired that I could NOT get out of my car. I fell asleep for 15 minutes, and was awoken by a knocking on my car. I jumped--and there was my brother, mom, and dad all standing outside my car staring at me. My brother kind of chuckled but my parents were kind of just staring....it was really awkward. I was really startled though so I quickly put my car in reverse and started driving to work early (I had to work at my own starbucks from 4:45-close). As I left my neighborhood, i just began to bawl. It was really weird. I guess from lack of sleep, being startled, having to go back to work, and the breakup with justin (haven't cried over that in a while)...everything kinda just came out. I bawled the entire ride to work, parked, and sat there for 15 minutes crying even more. It was so weird. I usually don't even cry, and it was just so much at once. Plus ever since I ate the burrito, I got REALLY bad heartburn until I got home 6 hours later and took Tums. But anyway, I made it through the day. After work some coworkers went to Maleks pizza a couple doors down and Devon & Kesha got me a "Get Well Soon" card (cos of my lip and my bad day..they could tell). It was really sweet.
What a weird day.
Tonight me, ari, ryan, katie, and sarah henshie went to Bennigan's for ari's birthday dinner. It was nice. I did something that hurt sarah's feelings that I shouldn't have done, but we talked about it. I felt really bad but i'm glad we talked it out, i didn't mean to hurt her feelings :( !! But that's what allows a friendship to grow stronger, right? Happy 21st birthday Ari!!
Tomorrow morning I'm driving to Penn State with Bonnie for Amber's 20th birthday party! We're both really excited. I made Amber two mix cds and bonnie & i are going to DC tomorrow to buy a gift for Amber. There will probably be a lot of cute artsy babes there. I'm going to drunk dial Tanya. I'll let you know how it went!
