Yesterday was registration.  It was stressful, as always, though slightly less so because I am a) not abroad and b)not a science major, or a science studies major.

However, I either horribly misread the schedule the two times I went through and detailed out my class plans, or the list changed.  This means that the nearly perfect class schedule I had planned was ruined.  Astronomy lab conflicted with my required English class because there was no longer a MWF section of English 202 offered.

So, instead, I looked briefly at a schedule that consisted of FIVE classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and no classes on MWF.  This schedule included an 8:00, but it would have allowed me to finish up my Science Studies minor.

But then, last minute(ish) Raewyn suggested looking through MWF mid-morning classes.  And French 131 was offered.  So we are taking French together!  I'm really excited, it will be the first time (except for orchestra in Sophomore year) that I take a class with a friend!!!

Now I am taking: (whether or not these numbers are right, I don't know)
English 202--intro to literary theory
English 421--American Transcendentalism
Russian 370--Russian Literature in Russian (.5 credit)
Russian 490--Thesis (.25 credit) (and I'm not actually registered yet ...)
University Chamber Orchestra
3something--Applied Violin Lessons
French 131--first semester French.
Yoga

French is MWF and Yoga is MW.

Plus DG
Plus (fingers crossed) Sigma Rho Chi.

p.s. I am newly addicted to Lost.
