(no subject)
In an attempt to fill my life and my resume, I'm looking into all sorts of things to do. And I'm starting to get excited and overwhelmed. I fear that I will do a terrible job at one or all of them, or that I will be overbooked and school will start suffering. But, I think I am going to forge ahead on the following projects:
--Applying for (and hopefully becoming) a Sigma Rho Chi
--Being involved in Best Buddies on some sort of officer level
--Looking into applying for a Lilly Grant
(I may not actually need the money to do what I want to do, which is: work on a biodynamic farm and research biodynamic farming.I don't know if I can even get an internship on a farm...But it would be wonderful to have that opportunity, and if it requires money, the Lilly Grant could both enable me to do that and inspire me to be intellectually active at the same time.
All this, of course, on top of this (calendar) year's position as Director of Rituals and next (school) year's thesi.
But, I'm ready to do things outside of Delta Gamma. I have been long enough residing in comfort and laziness. It's time to try to DO something with my time and life.
