funny how massive amounts of work can appear out of nowhere.  As with last semester, it is not that I don't want to do the work, but that I wish I could do MORE of it.  List of homework I want to do:

edit 2 poems (1 before going to bed tonight)
read the last 161 pages of Clarissa (before Thursday at 11)
read an article on narratology (before Wednesday at noon)
read two poetic essays (before Wednesday at noon)
write a prospectus (before Friday at 4)

homework I don't want to do, but want to gain benefit from, so by extension want to do the homework:
read Russian (before Wednesday at 11)
consider English Professor Candidates (before Thursday at 11)

other things I want to do, both right now and in general:
learn spanish
be better at playing the violin so that I can make music
read Lyn Hejenian's book of poetry "My Life"
read Juliana Spahr's memoir "The Transformation"
work out daily
fall in love (I am cynical about this one actually happening, but that doesn't mean I don't want it)
make more firm plans to move to Alaska
water my hyacinth bulb

unrelated: pandora.com is amazing.  And I am currently greatly enjoying their Latin stations, especially the Brazilian.
