MIKEY DID IT!!!
I am SOOOO proud of Mikey! He trained hard, and accomplished that goal of finishing the Las Vegas Marathon under four hours!!!

About 4,300 runners competed in sunny, windy conditions. Two-time Daytona 500 winner Waltrip finished in 3:56:52, beating his own personal record of 4:16. Petty finished in 4:16:02.

Three guesses who won the marathon - a Kenyan! How is it that Kenyans are so fast?
Kyle Petty finished in 4:16, which was Mikey's personal best before today. That's pretty awesome for a guy who has never run a marathon before! Great job, Kyle!
