Well my day at work ended earlier than usual. I started a new combo of blood pressure meds today. Doc said it might make me feel a little uneasy for the first few days. After that I should be fine. I left early for my rough commute back to home base. Traffic as of late has been unusually slow just past the T dome all the way to 512. I finally made it home to see my beautiful partner vismaya_viewerwaiting for me with a big smile on her face. After our usual mushy greetings she informed me that her good friend J was free from his home work and wanted to hang out at one of our favorite watering holes down in Ruston for a beer and a snack. So like a flash she hit the concrete trail to Tacoma for good beer and good company. I took a hot shower and tried to stave off the effects of the the new meds but that big yellow ball in the big blue playground had other idea's for me. With my room being upstairs it always about 15 deg. warmer than the rest of the house. I was able to catch a small cat nap until the heat drove me from my hot bed.I then decided that It was time to turn my fan back around and hope for cooler evening air to arrive. With not much else to do because of my lethargic state I watched another episode of HBO series Deadwood. Oh what it would have been like living in that time. Lawlessness and shady folks were abundant then. I probably would have found myself a small cabin along a river somewhere and lived out my life farming and fishing. Well I think I'll catch one more episode before the sand man makes his nightly visit. My body alarm goes off very early so I need to sleep. All's well here.
