Manchester Trip

Just got back from manchester, where we had some lectures on Henry VII which were fairly interesting, but nothing too special or insightful although the first guy was really funny. We ended up leaving late for some reason or other, and so missed the first lecture completely. The second lecture, which we did get to, was really good and the guy was funny and actually held peoples attention. For lunch we went to burger king and then went around town for a while before going back to the lecture hall. Then there was a guy who was so biased it wasn't funny (well actually it was because i was sitting next to my teacher and she kept on muttering 'what a load of bollocks' and leaning across to me and telling me that almost every book out there says exactly the opposite to what he was saying and that he was doing it to be 'arsy' and sell more books). After that there was some guy from oxford who started of well but just got really boring.... bogged down in genaeology....ugh. So yeah that's pretty much it.
