I love the color spread, with Team 7 styled as a classic fantasy RPG party - appropriate considering their recent reunion and teamwork.My interpretation was that Kishimoto has purchased a copy of the new Hobbit-DVD. Sasuke looks like an elf, Sakura has a giant axe like a dwarf, Kakashi has disguised himself as Gandalf, and there's a mini-Smaug in the puddle. Also the title "a short break" reminded me of the Rivendell-Chapter of the Hobbit. (I did not look it up however

-The whole zetsu thing was rather confusing to me. Where did they come from? Madara and Kaguya seem to be at odds on their story. I hope we get some clarification.
-If Madara is permanently out of the picture at least that eliminates the possibility of him being TNJ'd by anyone, which is a good thing. I prefer to see him go out being a villain.
-As for the Itachi reference by BZ, I wouldn't read to much into that. Zetsu was part of Akatsuki so of course he would know all about Itachi.
-I'm still hoping Harumo's descendents were the Hyuga and Uzumaki. Now that the younger brother was mentioned we should finally learn about him and what what said to Sasuke by the sage.
