Okay...I really didn't mean to post this soon again. I decided just to read Minakushi fic for a while. I thought I'd be safe. I saw a summary when browsing through Minato fics. Apparently, I was wrong.
I think my brain 'sploded.
Minato Namikaze: Fourth Hokage. Sensei to Kakashi, Obito, and Rin. Likeable enough guy. Dreamt of a peaceful ninja world, like the Hokages before him. Had blond hair. Genius shinobi. Feared by many, adored by his village. Loved a woman named Kushina and named his kid after a ramen topping character in his sensei's book.
Kushina Uzumaki: A tomboy at heart who used clones (like somebody else we know) and grew up to be a beautiful woman. Loved a man named Minato and gave birth to a son, named Naruto.
Current Status: Minato: Deceased. Kushina: Unknown, presumed dead.
Got it memorized? Good. Now then, why do you (and several other crap authors) portray either/or as a pair of pricks who sealed a chakra monster inside their own son and then somehow managed to get themselves killed? Have you already forgotten the flashbacks? Have you also already forgotten Minato's talk with Naruto? The wanted to raise Naruto to be a strong shinobi who fought for a true peace in the ninja world. Minato said that Madara saw through all of his strategies while he fought against Kyuubi.
Do you know what that means? It means that up until the Kyuubi was sealed away, Minato was practically losing. He did not seal the fox in his son to spite the boy, nor did he do it for fun. He did it to save both his son and his village. It shows the depth of his ability and foresight that he even managed to seal the Kyuubi in Naruto in the first place.
While we don't know what happened to her, is it that much of a stretch to believe that Kushina died in childbirth? Believe it or not, throughout most of humanity's existence childbirth has been a very likely possibility each and every time a child is brought into this world. (Yes, it still happens today, even in America. Though not nearly as often as it used to)
Oh, and please stop underestimating the sheer power the Kyuubi holds. Think back, way back, to the invasion of Pain arc. Remember what happened when the ninth tail was about to be unleashed? The seal was about to be ripped off. You know what that means? It means Kyuubi is free to rampage for the fun of it once again. If the seal is not reapplied, it does not mean the Kyuubi is absorbed into the main character of the series, it means a mean old fox, at the very least, can exert its power freely over Naruto, making its escape with relative ease.
Oh, and one more thing. Kazama Arashi does not exist. (At least not yet) And there's no reason for Naruto to have heard the name 'Kazama'. And changing his name from 'Uzumaki Naruto' to 'Kazama Naruto' is just stupid. Uzumaki Naruto sounds cool. It rolls of the tongue. Not quite the same for Kazama.
Oh, I should mention. While the brain esplosion was brought about from one particular fic, its not the only offender that I'm taking cracks at. Just the most recent.
