When I go on Narutofan forums - which make me feel like Naruto to its Sasuke, in that I keep coming back to it even though it drives me nuts - to read a thread entitled 'What do you think of Ino's performance in this fight so far?' and I see someone's written the following:
Women are not supposed to be strong in the first place. They need to be sensitive, caring, soft without a muscular body, and a good future mother. Don't want to see a mother who beats her kids senseless.
Did you ever hear about Super Woman?
So women Ninja's never interested me. Looking at Sakura and her ability, she looks like a man just without facial hair. Ino's ability on the other hand is better for a lady, but still she SUCKS BIG BALLS.
I'm not degrading women, But I believe it's our job to protect them not the opposite.
GO AND READ A MANGA WITH NO WOMEN CHARACTERS IN THEN, YOU MISOGYNIST FUCKING TWAT.
(Yes, I know I've posted about misogyny in the Naruto fandom before, but I need to get it off my chest somewhere.)
Also, a couple of things about the anime:
- Chouji looks hideous. The animator(s) who've done the blurry style in the recent episodes can't draw him for toffee and have forgotten the swirls on his face. Boo. Plus they had to make him a complete idiot and go "BITCH I KEEL YOU" when Hidan went "lol fatty" at him. You'd think the guy would be a little less sensitive about his weight now that he's a chuunin. And the bit where Kakuzu strangled him and Ino made me cringe. I know Ino's more of a spy than a physical fighter, but she's not THAT pathetic.

I will be immensely fucked off if the Deidara / Tobi fight with Sanbi isn't in the anime. And not just because Deidara is all kinds of awesome.
