HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY!! Wow, everyone, what a great start to 2011 with the one sentence meme! So now I challenge you to keep it up for this next month--it's only 28 days after all! Okay, so Valentine's Day is in February so think romantic so think poetry so think BAROQUE...well I don't actually know, but some anons came up with the idea of using poetry or art as a prompt for this month's meme. I figured we'll roll with it since the idea of using art/poetry seems ~romantic~...
Welcome to February's ARTISTE MEME!
+ Pick a character/pairing, any character/pairing you want.
+ Pick a piece of ART or a line of POETRY--this will be the prompt for writer!anons. The art can be anything from fanart to fine art, just provide an image in your prompt or a link to the image (especially if the image is really big, or some sorts of crazy). The line of poetry may be from something original to Shakespearean sonnets, as long as it is inspiring. Anon!writers are urged to write about whatever the art or words inspire in them, so have fun with the open range! Prompters, have fun with free reign on topics/themes. Quoth the Raven, 'Get creative!'
+ Your post most be ANONYMOUS. For organizational purposes, please post prompt keywords in the subject of your comment.
+ Play nice. This should be fun for ALL.
+ For every request you make try to fill out AT LEAST one request. Give and you shall receive (and the meme shall live on!).
+ Do not CLAIM prompts. Any given prompts can be filled infinitely, so you needn't claim the one you're writing, out of fear someone else will write for it as well. The more the merrier!
+ Make sure to watch the threads you start, so you'll know when your request has been filled/if any anon has replied asking for a clarification of your prompt.
+ Feel free to pimp/rec this far and wide!
