New Challenge!
After pondering long and hard, I've decided on the new challenge:
Civilians
'Cause it must be...interesting living in a ninja village with no ninja skills yourself. How would it change interactions? How would people get by? How would you cope with the inherent dangers of life in a ninja village, like demon foxes and giant snakes squashing your shop flat every so often? Interpret it as you will. It could be a what-if fic where a well-known shinobi took to life on civvy street instead. It could be a new wife and mother with previous ninja experience (Mikoto, Yoshino, etc.) adjusting to the homemaker role, or a retiree thinking about the "good" ole' days. Slice-of-life fic from Ayame and Old Man Ichiraku's POV? Sure, anything's good!
Bonuses for blossoms, kitchen utensils, a party, and the colour orange worn by someone who is *not* Uzumaki Naruto.
