Out of sight, he caught glimpse of her, as though a divine ghost appeared, he thought that his imagination was playing tricks on him. The river of blood red hair flowed when it was unbound, plunging over her shoulders down to her knees, contrasting her sterile cold blue eyes, stern and sharp. He knew from the moment he laid eyes on her, that she was a fascinating creature

(oh my gosh I am such a dork, I just realized it was Madara angsting about Hashirama not Mito >.< sorry >.They had been friends ever since they were young. Their youthful rivalry was what made them grow closer together. Madara thought he would always have him by his side, even when they were torn apart by the conflict of their clans, they still ended side by side. That didn't bother Orochimaru as much as it terrified him. Because deep down, in the pit of his bile-drenched stomach and the bottom of his flighty arrhythmic heart, he knew it was true.

Sasuke wasn't afraid of forked tongues in unnatural places or peeling layers of snakeskin off slowly decaying flesh. Sasuke wasn't afraid of anythingHe wasn't afraid because he knew there was nothing to be afraid of. Orochimaru wouldn't harm him. Orochimaru could never harm him. After having his emotional barrier broken down by Naruto, Gaara is feeling raw and worn down. A little while after he apologizes to Temari and Kankuro, Gaara does something he hasn't done in nearly 5 years. He cries. It starts as a little hiccup and gasping before devolving into full blown sobs. Temari and Kankuro are completely dumbstruck, but feel the need to comfort him nonetheless. Ideally this should end with Gaara sandwiched in between his two siblings, clinging to them with everything he's got.
