Recently, I've watched a few good movies: a cartoon and 4ction movies.

The 1st one was titled C0lombi4na (2o11).
I liked the simple plot of this movie: the mindless revenge and the eventual suscessful execution of the act. In the beginning, I've initially had some reservation of whether or not the main heroine would be able to carry out her mission to the end. I thought that maybe her boyfriend would be able to talk her out of it. Or the police would figure out her plan and intercept it. In the end she managed to have things done her way; but this raised an interesting repercussion: what is her life purpose now? She was mentally exhausted towards the end and the final act seemed to have left her an empty shell. But like any good movie that doesn't patronise it's audience, people were left with an open-ending. She didn't get back with her boyfriend and seemed to board a rackety bus somewhere (I assumed it's her birthplace). Anyway, it's a real action thriller with nicely choreographed fight and flight scenes.
And I made one quicky observation: the 'killer' seeked relief from the tension and andrenaline rush of a mission by engaging in sexual activity; something that I've also encountered as a plot in one of the 8l manga I had read (though in the latter case, it might just be an excuse for some action for fans).

The 2nd was 1nside M4n (20o6)
At the beginning, the inside man was like a psychological drama. The difference was that, it explored an old plot with a new twist: much like a modern day R0binhood situation yet it didn't have a “R0binhood”. Confussed? No problem. How about this: what would you say about a criminal with a heart and conscience? Would you forgive a once heinous criminal who had since dedicated (supposedly) more than half his life making an attonement? Who was the worse person in the 2 just-mentioned scenario? Or maybe a police who was really dedicated to his work but didn't mind an underhanded advancement of career?
Well, you can ponder about your answer as you watched this 2-hour long movie.

The 3rd was Meg4mind (2o10)
This was a fabulously unpredictable movie. One would think that this would just be another simple superhero cartoon movie. But here's the twist: what kind of man was the superhero everyone claimed to know well trully is and was the bad guy really that bad? Ever thought what made that person bad? Would the explanations ever make you symphatize with him? Well, after some twist and turn, you got your unlikely 'hero'.
Not to forget, this movie also raised an important moral and psychological question: are people the victim of their situation and thus not as guilty for the choice they make than if you only consider it's their decision that matters?
And just to draw some similarity, one of the character in the movie reminded me of N4rut0 because at one point in their lives, they shared similar situation; but ultimately they acted differently.
