Haku stood on the hill overlooking the large civilian community below, her hunter-nin mask still cracked in half, showing the delicate and boyish face underneath. The community was chosen as the last site to grab test subjects from for several reasons. The residents, on average, were quite healthy, it was very large, offering a good selection of test subjects, and last, but not least, with so many residents they were bound to be noticed by someone and ninja would no doubt be called in, which allowed them to not have to risk going into a hidden village to retrieve the subjects that way.
There was no doubt in Haku's mind that there were already likely a small selection of ninja already dispatched into the village for lower-rank missions. With a quick nod to her two taller companions, they set off into the community as the sun began to sink over the horizon, staining the sky red.
