So tired. Spent the whole day shopping. I win though, a frying pan and a pot for ten bucks each, go me!

I have a question, O wise people on my flist! I want to pick up a Super Famicom in Japan, do I need any special cables/adapters to use it on a NA TV?

No problem. Actually, it has the exact same out-plug as a US SNES/N64/Gamecube... *went and looked* So I've probably just always used my Gamecube cables for mine. ^^;; (It will have a 100 volt adapter, though, which will be specific - but even though the US is 110/120 volts, it won't hurt the machine at all. My multitude of other Japanese electronics have always been fine plugged straight into the wall (or surge protector).

I definitely have a gamecube cable for my SFC -- the cables cost more than the rest of the SFC parts put together.

Nope! I have a Japanese super famicom I got from Hard Off there, and it works completely fine on my US TV, and the power adapter is fine without any sort of converting thing either.

Hmm, some old RPGs, I think. I just like looking through used games because you don't know what you'll find. And old games can still be fun! Just because we have XBoxes these days doesn't mean the stuff on SNES isn't fun anymore ;)
