grumble grumble and a quick note to self
-When I go offline for a few days for religious holidays, should I mention it or not? It's not like you guys usually have any need to get hold of me...
-I went outside today. This was a mistake. IT'S SOOOOO HOT and the buses aren't running! (Except on 'peak hours', which are good for the average person, and since there is no such thing as an average person they're not that much good to most people. They're on strike, because $22 an hour is not nearly enough, or something. Well, to be fair it's possible they have some legitimate complaint, but they're causing the more vulnerable members of society - who don't have access to cars and can't afford two cab rides every day - significant hardship. I'm not talking about myself, either.)
Fortunately, I was rescued by my mom, who happened to pass by as I was disconsolately waiting for the buses to start. YAY MOM~
-I need to send my movie into Visionfest, the Ottawa International Animation Festival and Teletoon's Scholarship. For VF the mail has to be postmarked by June 1st. OIAF needs the entry form by June 1st (can be uploaded) and the actual film DVD by June 15th. Teletoon needs it by June 15 too.
Basically, this Sunday is going to be spent on Adobe Premiere...
-I had a theory about Takagi from Detective Conan but it seems to have been defeated by Wikipedia... Oh well. Chapter 609 (honestly, Aoyama, six hundred chapters and not even close to the ending?) is a shocker, isn't it? (Those of you that read the series.) I guess it's 90% certain that what looks to be the case really happened, but there are some details that bug me.
The biggest one, of course, is that this is a mystery and mystery writers always cheat.:P
