I have internet again! Rejoice, world! 8D I can sympathize with charmwitch's situation better now. ^^;

And I just got a little Tsubasa bookmark from cardcaptorkiki! Thank you! It's very cute ( Read more... )

I'm only baffled why Luke is #2 instead of #1 on the Tales ranking

I wouldn't expect him to be first because he doesn't have the emo/eternally grumpy look like Leon and Kratos, nor does he have a secret soft spot for the main character because he's the main character (unless you count Mieu). :P Well, I care even less about Kratos so I'm glad he was pushed back.

Luke is too annoying to be my favorite Tales hero. But because of his character development and his not-so-secret soft spot for Mieu, he definately tops Rid by a bajillion. *punches Rid*

Where's my Normaaaa. ;_;

Who is your favorite lead, then? Cless? Stahn? Senel?

Have you played Summoner's Lineage? I know you have it :)

I like Cless too, actually. He's just an all-round nice guy.

I played it on ROM before and got a bit more than halfway through, but my actual cart barely passed the first town. ^^; I'll get to play more once I get a DS, which will be in a year or two... orz

Cless used to be the most underdevelopped Tales hero out there until the face chats and OAVs came out. He's the type of main character who doesn't think twice, is loyal to his friends and loved ones and is determined to protect them and the world without any selfish motivation. You could say he's too perfect or plain unrealistic but I do sometimes quite enjoy a character who doesn't spend his time moping and complaining, especially Cless because he's certainly one of the original/oldest and classical RPG heroes.

Well Phantasia came out rather late in the SNES's life, so he's not one of the earliest (*cheers for Cecil*) :P but he is an uncomplicatedly good person! I really enjoyed what I played of Phantasia PSX so I'm planning on buying it eventually. The face chats really do add a lot :)
