Wow, a lot of news happened over Shabbat. Just looking through this website, I don't know if I can understand it all. Please bear with me and these non-dorky posts for a while longer...
I have to say that hearing Vladimir Putin call for restraint is really funny in a sick sort of way. The IDF should use the kind of restraint they used in Chechnya? Sorry, Israel is not that nasty.
Also, it was an Iranian missile that struck an IDF warship on Friday. Apparently they also hit an Egyptian merchant vessel...
Oh, I just heard that the sister of a high school classmate spent the night in a bomb shelter and is now evacuating Tveryah (Tiberias.) For reference, Tveryah is a nice touristy sort of beach resort that was built in Roman times.
In other news, I read 150 pages of Suzumiya Haruhi no Inbou (novel 7) today and yesterday. I may make a separate post about it later.
