Sorry for spamming your flists, but I wanted to post these two links.

Tales of Symphonia OAV official site up. It looks nice! I'm expecting lots of colored lights for the wings~

Screenshots of Tri-Crescendo's new RPG, Trusty Bell (image-heavy). It apparently stars Chopin - yes, the composer! - and he meets characters like the tragic heroine ( Read more... )

Aw, now I want to play Trusty Bell xP

I don't feel like shelling out money for a console I'll only use one game for, though >.>

Yaaay~ A ToS OAV~:D It does indeed look pretty~x3 I still need to play that game..xD;;

Trusty Bell for the Xbox 360?T_T; It looks so cute, but it's too bad very few people will buy it. I'm not willing to buy an Xbox just for this, but I'd gladly borrow it from people who do own one.xD;

Hahaha, I haven't played ToS either, for the same reason - I wasn't willing to buy a Gamecube for only a few games. Maybe I'll try the PS2 version someday.

Yeah, I have the same reason as you for not playing ToS.^^; If the PS2 was region free, I'd probably import ToS especially since the PS2 version has more stuff in it..xD;;

Tri-Crescendo? I don't think I've ever heard of that company. What else have they made? /being a total lazy ass and not googling it myself

I want to play as Chopin =A= And he should be able to run into his contemporaries of the time! And I assume it'll revolve heavily around music related things and actually use pieces composed by Chopin! (Which is why I hope for contemporaries because I don't actually care that much for Chopin and think they should use pieces from other people too!)

Unfortunately I don't have an XBox 360...I never had a regular XBox either, because this is like, the VERY FIRST GAME that's ever interested me in the Microsoft consoles. Maybe if they keep producing games like these, I'll consider buying one.

They're a company which branched off from tri-Ace, so they worked on all of tri-Ace games (Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, Radiata Stories) + Baten Kaitos. :D

Well, Feria answered the question about Tri-Crescendo narugami June 22 2006, 22:59:39 UTC
Apparently Motoi Sakuraba is composing, but they hired a pianist named Stanislav Bunin to play Chopin's piano pieces. I hope there will be other classical music too though (I love Mozart). And do you know an actor named Lee Morimoto? He's doing narration.

Hopefully more stuff like this will come out for Xbox, so people who don't like Halo have something to play. Somebody should give Sony a run for their money in Japan.

Trusty Bell seems like a really cute game, (I love the Chopin thing, hahaha,) so I was interested in it...until I found out what console it was for. XD;; Oh well!

Tri-Crescendo is the company that made Baten Kaitos though, right...? I'm not sure what else they're responsible for.

I guess that explains why the style reminds me so much of Radiata Stories. :B
