*Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere are my KH manga?! ;_; If they got lost in the mail, I'll... I'll...
*I finally saw a picture of this Ion Maiki was laughing about. How is that a boy?! It has pigtails! And a dress! And toe shoes! o_o It also has a magic staff shaped like a tuning fork. Hahahaha that's taking the music metaphor a bit far, isn't it?
*Speaking of Tales, will somebody please get Kratos out of my head? He's just standing there and looking off sadly into the distance like he has friends there. If this doesn't stop this journal is going to be flooded with stupid fanarts of him and I have other things to do, dammit.
*I haven't gone insane, I'm speaking figuratively. x_x
*Interesting things I saw today: perfume bottles that cost more dollars than they hold in milliliters, born-again guitar players in the metro ("I saw the light, thank the Lord" I thought at first he was singing to the tune of "I saw the sign", which would have been REALLY funny, but he wasn't. Oh well), .hack Mutation for $31 (DAMN YOU CYBERCONNECT, I can`t afford that now and you know it) and snow. Why is it snowing? Make it stop. It starts off with lights in the stores and a cold nip in the air, and then before you know it there's ice everywhere and you have to wear boots and gloves and two sweaters and a hat. (And a coat.) I don't mind snow in and of itself; when there's a lot of it, just fallen, and the world is completely clean and silent, it's beautiful. What I mind is freezing rain and slush and watching three buses in a row go by while your nose freezes. Brr.
*I am incredibly lucky I missed my Admi 201 exam for religious reasons and wrote an essay instead. Everybody had a very hard time and I got an 85%! YESSS. (It's unseemly to gloat in public, but this is my journal and if I don't do my gloating here, where on earth am I going to do it? So there.)
*I've been playing Mr Driller 2 like an idiot on the bus lately, with the side effect that whenever I close my eyes I see pastel-colored blocks falling down. It's not as easy to grasp as Tetris or as much fun as Tetris Attack, but it's catchy, and you can even save your game in the middle of a round and pick it up later. Definitely made for playing in short stints. :)
*Why hasn't there been a Tetris Attack rerelease for GBA or somesuch? I want to play it again and I can't find the SNES cartridge anywhere.
*I read this week's chapitres of Tsubasa and holic, thanks to chibiyuuto and hiragizawa. That does it, okay, WatanukixZashiki-warashi and KuroganexTomoyo-hime are now officially love, as they say in those omnipresent color bars. In the case of the zashiki-warashi, it's the pure disinterested love she has for him that does it for me. Watanuki hadn't done anything for her (the White Day present could be construed as simple politeness) but she flung herself into terrible danger for his sake anyway. ;_; As for Kurogane and Tomoyo, I can see why he'd tear the earth apart for her; she saved him when he was all alone. Plus she pushes his "mommy" switch (she looks like his Haha-ue, with that sweet face and long dark hair).
I'm convinced those pairings are as close to canon as you'll get, too. A two-page picture of people staring at each other on a mirrorlike background? That's proof, okay. And Yuuko likes the zashiki-warashi, while she makes dark hints about Himawari. (At the very least I'm pretty much certain that Watanuki is not going to give up his second sight in the end, because Yuuko wouldn't be giving him this much of an education if he were.)
