How am I?
It's hard to tell these days...
Let's talk about what has been going on in chronological order.
Last weekend I went home.
This was a very revealing weekend.
I realized that I haven't been happy in months. Home was the first time I have been truly at peace.
You'll have to excuse me, this city turns you into a Buddhist.
Even the bums do yoga.
I don't know about you, but I feel centered.
Anyway.....
Home was awesome. I got to hang out with Mom and Katie whom I miss very much. And Vanessa was there too. She just moved back from North Carolina.
Moving back to Buffalo is a fad...
Just in case you were wondering.
But I digress
Niagara U was amazing. I really think I'm going to do very well there.
The people there are so great- very chill, very accepting. The campus is just what I'm looking for right now.
I saw Candice! WOOOOOOOOOOO
I love Candice's boyfriend/friends they are the people I haven't quite found here and I am amazingly excited for next semester
So we'll see, but things are definitely looking up.
So Saturday, I went with Eliza to visit Em at Bonnies...
Much fun as always...
Drunken people everywhere!
But that's par for the course at Saint Bonaventure University.
Emily-Rose makes my life.
I miss Joey though...
and Greg
and KP
booooooooooooo
and Cara for that matter
booo again...
and everyone
I MISS EVERYONE OKAY?!?! GOD, GET OFF MY BACK!!!!!
We shall be reuinited in less than a week...
yessssssssssssss
Anyway...
Then, on Monday night, me Anna, the kids from West, went to see Jason Robert Brown with the orignal Broadway cast of Songs for a New World.
I think Anna rocks my world. She's definitely a world rocker.
It was good to see Steve... He's applying early decision to NYU. I just hope he likes New York college more than I do. He looks very good; grown up and attractive.
But the Monday night was incredible. It may go down in history as one of the most memorable nights of my whole life.
The show was amazing. Jason Robert played alot of his own stuff (songs from a cd that hasn't yet been produced) and songs from some of his new musicals.
Carrie Butler was randomly there and sang something from the new musical he's working on called "Honeymoon in Vegas" which is a theatrical adaptation of the Nick Cage film of the same title. It was really great.
Then after the show, I met both the women from SFANW. They were so nice and genuine.
Its always nice to meet theater people who keep invisible egoes.
Tres refreshing.
This city also turns one French, apparently.
I am so excited for Thanksgiving. I get to go home a day eariler than I thought I would because I don't have class on Tuesday. Yay, Thanksgiving!
And yay to next semester!
:)
Auf Wiedersehen
