vacation day 5 ~ the last day
i dont want to go to work tomorrow :-(
vacation has been great. the place we stayed on friday was wonderful. the restaurant we ate dinner at was fabulous! (might be worth the ferry ride just to go there.) strong ass drinks, wonderful appetizers, best steak ive ever scavenged off keiths plate, dessert to die for...etc. etc. etc.
yesterday was a touch fussy. we went looking at stuff at lowe's for the new house. not so exciting. the flooring sucked ass. i think at this point we will put tile (eventually) in the kitchen (im thinking slate, that i can get cheaper than dirt) or if we are lucky there might be hardwood under the vinyl that is there now.
one section of wallpaper is kinda scary, but we will deal.
Fucky... any good ideas about taking out wallpaper? it is above the brick on the fireplace, might be over drywall???? picture 5 of 11 here
side note: since i seem to have become a lush i frequently draw a line on my wine bottles. i can easily finish off a bottle or more on my own if im not careful. so today i finished off what we had open and asked k to draw a line for me on the new bottle. which he did with the note "lush line limit" on it. god i love my silly silly hunny!!!!! and yes i fully admit to being a lush :-)
