Spring Break is hereeeeeeeeee
I just spent about a half hour in the closet looking for clothes to wear. Do you guys ever feel like you want to dress your age...and not look so young? I'm starting to feel like that, but a part of me wants to say "fuckit" and just wear whatever I want. I really shouldn't care what others think of me, but I think dressing older makes me feel older...and with that comes respect? Hmm...I just need to be more confident in myself and that will show. :) So what did I end up picking out of my closet...a purple fitted tee and a pair of khaki shorts to go with my new Keds...they're so cute...they've got a ton of patterns and such...
Anyway...as some of you may know...I'm going on several trips in the next two months. In April I'll be going to NY for a few days to throw a surprise bridal shower for the future sis-in-law. A few weeks later in May, I'll be attending my brother's wedding in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. During Memorial day weekend, I will be in San Fran visiting friends and shopping! What sucks about these trips I'm taking is that I would have already quit my job by then.....which some may think it's a stupid idea...but i can't just tell my boss..oh look..i'm going to be taking these days off here and there...i might as well quit. Plus...I have an internship and summer school...so it was the right time.
Yay...I can't wait... But first I've got to do really well in school..which I think I'm doing pretty good.
As for today, I'm taking Emily out to go watch Bridge to Terabithia and taking her shopping for some pens...and maybe later on tonight...I'll see Mariam and Zara! And Evan!
