My Georgey is such a darling.
He sits in his room all day, playing war with his little friends.
Of course, sometimes he loses some of the pieces, and makes some wrong decisions,
But he covers it up, just like Daddy showed him.
I’m so proud of my little boy, he’s been chosen as the class leader.
There was a little bit of trouble with counting the votes, but that’s all sorted now.
He’s got such great plans for the class, and everyone is very proud of him,
He says that he is going to be the best class leader ever, and I’m sure he will be.
He came in terribly upset this week.
Someone knocked over his sandcastles, and stole all of his toy soldiers.
Georgey says he knows who did it, and he says he will find them and tell everyone who it was,
So far though, he hasn’t found anything, but he’s sure he’s got them right where he wants them.
He gets so excited when his playmates come over, Tony, Colin and Jack.
They have a lovely time; they especially enjoy their little naps in between conflicts.
He seems to have fallen out with young master Blix though, such a nice boy I thought,
Some “to-do” over maths destruction was it? I think that’s right. I’m sure it’s nothing serious.
He’s not getting on too well at school these days I fear.
All the other children have changed their minds about him being the class leader.
He made such a fuss when they made him wait until the proper time to play wars,
He kicked his sand all over the playground; it’ll take him forever to clean up.
My Georgey is such a darling.
He sits in his room all day, just playing war with his little friends.
Of course, sometimes he loses some of the pieces, and makes some wrong decisions.
But he covers it up.
He covers it up.
