The Expendables.
I loved it! All my favourite men in one movie. What more could a girl want?
Simple plot which makes it easy to follow with all the explosion and hard hand to hand combat. I enjoyed the nonsense of this popcorn movie immensely.
“I need more money.” I laughed every time Jet Li said that. And I died when Arnold Schwarzenegger walked into the church; all I missed were the guiding angels.
I have to admit, I never thought Stallone was very handsome, but in this movie he surely has something very attractive. (I like older men, I admit it.)
About Statham; I have liked that man the moment I first saw him in a movie (I don’t remember which one I saw first.)
(And there are whole lot more guys that deserve a wonderful description, but I picked my favourites.)
There is not much I can tell you about it, other then; if you enjoyed action movie since the time of Rambo and Rocky and follow today’s action heroes, you are going to like this movie. Because we all know not to look at it too seriously. Let’s face it; you do not these movie because of the great story line, and you don’t care if some things simply don’t make any sense.
(And if you need another reason; JASON STATHAM.)
