Thoughts on the first ten Fanfic50 prompts.
As I haven't been accepted to the community yet, I thought I'd kill some time by sharing some thoughts on how I'll approach the first ten prompts.
001. Rain - My immediate thoughts were 'Tears In Rain', from the Blade Runner soundtrack, also a quote from Roy Baty (it's spelled that way in the book so yeah). So I'm thinking I'll do something a bit AU where Jeremy's a fugitive Replicant. Mainly for the lulz, but also because I think he'd be incredibly cute in futuristic clothing. 8D
002. Mirror - something about self-analysis, I guess, maybe in first person because I like writing in Jeremy's voicing. I think Jeremy's a very under-confident guy so it would work to me. It could be kinda depressing, though. Response for my angstfic, 'Relapse', was actually pretty good, so it's a possibility.
003. Sanctuary - so honestly I'm not sure. My first thoughts were the show, Sanctuary, except I've never seen any episodes so that's out. I just know a lot of fans. xD Instead it could be a quick bit of yearning for Ravenhill, or why Jeremy liked his stay in Ravenhill. Or their studies into the secret of life itself. I dunno.
004. Imagination - The internet has destroyed my imagination, seeing as the first thing I thought of was that Spongebob GIF. But nevertheless, I would quite like to know what disturbed mind came up with the Silent Singer, and why. Y'know, other than Steve and Reece being amazing and hilarious circa 1995.
005. Spirit - so with this, I think I'm going to go with a deathfic. His family's reaction to his death; perhaps a sequel to Relapse. That'd work. And be sad. :D
006. Resign - I dunno. Maybe Jeremy can quit his job at Brooke Street? I think that'd be quite fun to write; perhaps a first draft of his resignation letter. Or it could be about him trying to get away from Kenchington. Maybe he wasn't too into the research at first.
007. Abnormal - I'm thinking of taking a route down the 'character-from-other-character's-perspective'. So something from Rachel Groves' perspective. I have never written her before! 8D
008. Vision - So much I could do for this one. o-o Uh... this could be that Jeremy and might-as-well-be-an-OC fic. But it's not Jeremy/OC. I will never support that pairing. D8
009. Heaven - Something very quick about Jeremy being void of schizophrenic symptoms for a day. I dunno.
010. Hell - something about when he felt his madness for the first time.
