In Which I'm Back

What a weird couple of days it's been. As I said, I've been staying at Jack's, in his guest room since between my roomie's soroity and boy issues, my own room was more hazadrous then many places I've been.
But she has a sorority lock-in tonight, so I'm watching Scrubs and Jon and Kate Plus Eight and doing my nails.
So, the funniest thing happened today. We were at the local craft show, and while my mom was getting this picture she bought, this guy comes over to us, me and my sister, and holds out his hands to her and says, "Can you hold this?" She jumps about twenty feet back, which of course prompts me to go "I'll hold it!" Turns out, the guy trains Sugar Gliders, and he had one to show people. The poor thing was terrified of all the excitment, and kept trying to crawl up the sleeve of my coat. of course, once it got out of my sleeve, it peed on it. I'm a nanny, so I get peed and pooped and puked on every twenty minutes, but I'm just glad I saved my sister from that because it would have been a shit-fit for the ages.
I got payed back for the bike today, so hopefully I can get a bike of my own (a non-motorized one) sometime, so I can ride around campus, up and down to Sonic and Wal-Greens and what have you.
Also, I have a new, as yet untitled book in the works, staring Lucy Carousel,  spunky fifteen year old nymphette, and Robert Xander, fourty-four year old suave Southern bachelor. There will be snark, there will be motorcycle chases, and there will be hot hot sex! I want to get it published for one reason, and one reason only: I want it to have a big enough fandom to have a kink!meme. I love a kink!meme.
Well, that's about all I got. Off to work on more character and plot charts.

characters, life, insanity
